It’s almost here!

Dade Association of Dance Educators is working in conjunction with Miami-Dade County Public Schools to bring you our newest event - The Florida Dance Challenge.  The FDC is an event to give schools the  opportunity to be assessed,  in order to meet the Florida State Dance standards while creating a safe and nurturing environment.  The FDC was created  to bring the art form of dance to align with other performing arts disciplines.   It will benefit teachers and students, as it will provide teachers with professional growth opportunities. The purpose of this event is to unite the dance community within  the  public, private and charter school sectors in  the South Florida area.  In addition to the assessment,  teachers have the option to register their school at the competitive level for evaluation and placement.
